Hi, everyone!

Welcome to my Salesforce blog.

I’m Jennifer Lee. I am a Salesforce MVP, enthusiast and Trailhead addict. Native Bostonian. Pomeranian owner.

  1. Hi Jennifer – congratulations on your awards and a very informative blog! I’ve had some SalesForce experience, would like to get more and become certified. However, although I’ve listed myself as a SalesForce “generalist” (Learned/used it on a temp assignment recording sales leads), everyone seems to want certified. I’ve had years of database experience in a number of areas; and I just can’t afford the SalesForce courses on my own. Any suggestions for an experienced admin seeking work to find an employer who might send me for cert?

Thank you – Joanne (also Boston native, living in NH)

  3. There are some companies who will hire non-certified administrator who have the experience they are looking for. Many companies will pay for their employees to get the needed certifications as part of career development. My current and previous employers did, esp. if certifications are desired for those positions. You need to have thia conversation with the specific company to understand their policies.
